Who we are:
Col.C is a trans-disciplinary practice with expertise in urban design and architecture. Col.C strives for making cities better for people’s lives through authentic “Place Making”, our approach to bringing integrated solutions to urban projects based on a deep understanding of human behavior, buildings and its socio-economic and cultural context. We invent beneficial relationships between people’s lives and their built environment.
We believe that a sustainable urban system is fundamental to urban vitality and creating delightful places enhances the joy of people’s lives. Our three key objectives are:
1. Creating Authentic Places
2. Establishing a Sustainable Urban System
3. Responding to Market Need
How we work:
Col.C is named after the term ‘Collective Creativity’ for innovated work, initiated by renowned professor Linda Hill at Harvard Business School. Hill advocates that there are three components – Creative Abrasion, Creative Agility, and Creative Resolution- that interplay and generate mutual feedback to achieve the ultimate level of innovation. Col.C embraces this concept and adapts it into our research process to produce fresh perspectives on the subject, re-framed dialogues between relevant entities, and a brilliant solution as an end result.
